Why I Do what I do~pester brat

One thing that I've noticed among many fellow Christians I know [of] through churches or on the internet, is a lack of interest or concern as it pertains to Economic and Constitutional issues facing our country that I deal with. I realize that there may be various reasons why others do not get involved, and we may not agree on everything. I just want to publicly share why I do what I do and just leave it to the Lord on how He chooses to use it.

One of the mottos I encourage  are the 4 P's: Prayer, Proaction, Planning, Preparing. I'm sure we would all agree on the praying. But let me share why I do and encourage the other 3 P's.

1) Proaction: I don't think we can know God's revealed will for the USA yet, and therefore we don't know if it is too late to turn things around as the Lord wills. That's why I think we need to be more involved in a peaceful Christ-like manner and stay on our elected officials at the local, state, and federal levels peradventure it is God's will to change things around. Call them, write them, email them, meet with them, maybe even some peaceful demonstrations. For those who have been quick to dismiss various issues as mere wild conspiracy theories, I encourage you to think through how some of these issues that were once thought of as wild conspiracy theories have been brought to light as being true (FEMA Centers, Drones, just to name a couple).

2 & 3) These two are closely tied together. It is my opinion that the principle we get from Joseph warning Pharaoh to plan for a famine in the land is wise to apply to our country now as long as we do not get like the man in Jesus' parable that built his barns of goods for his own glory. I think it is prudent and wise that if the Lord wills, we would store up food, water, and more, considering the type of living arrangements most Americans have (Apartments, Townhomes, Duplexes, Triplexes , Single Family Homes with small Lots, etc.). If (or maybe it should be 'when') the economy collapses, and people cannot go to one of their local grocery stores to purchase food, drink and other necessities, what do you think will happen? Can you garden? Do you have enough land and waterway to live off of it? Do you have any food and water stored up at all? If a person/ family does, can they protect their family and what they have from others that may do anything to get food and water? It's not a pretty picture, and I know this comes across as doom & gloom and fear mongering. If you're a Christian like me, we hope the Lord is pleased to come back for His people and spare us this. But what if just because this type of trial happens, it is not "Rapture time?" Even if it would be part of, or coincides with the Tribulation Period, what if the Rapture is not pre-tribulational? Brothers & Sisters in Christ and fellow citizens, be wise as serpents and harmless as doves regarding these things. Pray for and desire God's will to be done, but remember our responsibility to provide for our families. Remember the biblical proverb that a man plans his way but the Lord directs his steps. We don't know how things will unfold, but my motto is, and I think it may be a good one, that we hope for the best, plan for the worst, and pray God's will be done. If it's because of a certain way things unfold, or the Lord's return, it won't really matter if such planning doesn't work out. Because for those of us who have been born again, and are trusting in the Person and Work of Christ alone (perfect sinless life, sufficient sacrifice, glorious resurrection) with a repentant faith, are heaven bound all because of grace and Christ. I would rather be called a fool for preparing and nothing happen than to be a fool because I didn't prepare and something did happen.
